 OBRA Waiver

A Pennsylvania MA (Medicaid) waiver available for adults with ASD, and others, to utilize for funding to pay for services. 

 ACAP (Adult Community Autism Program)

A program/services for adults with autism/ASD available in some counties in PA.

Adult Autism Waiver 

A Pennsylvania waiver available for adults with ASD to utilize for funding to pay for services.

Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR)
The Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (BVRS), within the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), provides services to help persons with disabilities prepare for, start and maintain employment.

• Federal (Social Security Income & Supplemental Security Income) 

  SSA (Social Security Administration)  The SSI and SSDI are different benefits for people with disabilities through the SSA.

  • Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (Medical Assistance, Food Stamps, Cash Assistance)

    The Department of Public Welfare through County Assistance Offices determines eligibility for Medical Assistance, Food Stamps, and Cash Assistance. There are a variety of different programs under both Cash and Medical Assistance, which are designed to meet the need of all age groups on both a temporary and a permanent basis.

    A Departmemt within DPW (Depatment of Public Welfare) specdifically addressing the needs, issues and concerns of people with ASD in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 
  • The Home and Community Services Information System (HCSIS) Services and Supports Directory.

    The HCSIS Services and Supports Directory is a tool for individuals with MR/ID and other developmental disabilities, their families, and circle of support to locate services and service providers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
